President Sadyr Zhaparov met with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon
Today, on June 2, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov met with President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Cholpon-Ata city of Issyk-Kul region.
The leaders of the countries discussed topical issues and prospects of Kyrgyz-Tajik bilateral cooperation, priorities of the regional and international agenda.
During the negotiations, particular emphasis was placed on the delimitation and demarcation of the state border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
The Heads of State expressed satisfaction with the progress made in recent years regarding the coordination of the project line of the state border between the two countries.
Both Sadyr Zhaparov and Emomali Rahmon called for the continuation of effective negotiations and the exploration of mutually acceptable solutions based on mutual respect and trust.
