Almost all the houses in the border villages of Zhany-Zhersky and Kulundinsky aiyl districts have been looted. This was announced by the akim of the Leilek district Almazbek Rakhmankulov.According to him, the situation in the region remains tense.

"The shelling has stopped, but the situation is tense. All villages of the district are under the control of the Kyrgyz military. Houses were looted in border settlements, according to preliminary data, more than 20 houses were burned. Now law enforcement agencies are working on the ground, then we will inspect the villages. Then only the exact number of affected objects will be known and the damage will be calculated in advance," the head of the district said and added that humanitarian aid is arriving in the region.

"We deliver food to the places of evacuation of people. The cargo of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived this morning. We bring fuel and lubricants to the district," the mayor said.
