In the Batken region, during the invasion of Tajikistan into Kyrgyzstan, 282 residential buildings were destroyed. Baktybek Chamashev, representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, announced this at a press conference at the Kabar agency.

According to him, a working group consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and civil defense are visiting the areas of Batken region, where armed conflicts took place, in order to calculate the material damage from the destruction of social facilities.

“So, as of September 19, 282 residential buildings, 3 strategic facilities, 9 social facilities and 300 household and life support facilities were destroyed in the Batken region,” he said.
